We’ll make it easy for you! Download PDF instructions Basic File Preparation Rules File format: PDF (or high-quality JPG, PNG, TIFF). Resolution: 300 dpi. Color profile: Preferred mode CMYK (Coated Fogra 39 profile). RGB files will be automatically converted, which may result in a color shade difference. Rich black: To achieve rich black, use the following components: C:30% M:30% Y:0% K:100%. Bleed: There is no need to add bleed for playmat printing. Safety margin: Place important texts and graphics at least 4 mm from the edge of the target format (trim size). Text: All fonts must be outlined. Marks: Do not add crop marks or registration marks when saving. Flatten layers before saving. Remove transparencies. Dimensions and Safe Area No bleed: Do not add print bleed. Prepare the file exactly to the final print size (trim size). Trimming: Please note that the playmat will be trimmed by approx. 1 mm on each side. Maximum dimension: We print playmats up to 120 cm x 300 cm. File Name To efficiently fulfill your order, please name the file so we can easily distinguish it from others. Recommended scheme: Surname_Dimension_NumberOfPieces Example: Kowalski_100x50_2pcs.jpg Color Profile Color mode: The best color reproduction will be ensured by the CMYK color space. Conversion: If you send an RGB file, it will be automatically converted to CMYK. This may cause a slight change in shades, especially with bright colors. Resolution (Quality) Recommended: 300 DPI (guarantees a sharp, clear image). Minimum: 150 DPI. Scaling: We can adapt a smaller graphic to a large mat, but remember: the more we enlarge a low-resolution file, the more blurry (“pixelated”) it will become.
